Johnson during a visit to Kiev suggested Zelensky to create an alliance against Russia

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson offered Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to create a military alliance against Russia, the Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera reported.

According to the author, the British politician said that it was necessary to create “a new system of political, economic and military alliances. It must become an “alternative to the European Union (EU)” and unite the countries dissatisfied with the position of Brussels and also with Germany’s reaction to Russia.

Johnson first put forward the initiative to Kiev during his visit to Ukraine on April 9. According to the Prime Minister’s idea, apart from Ukraine and Great Britain, the organization would include Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and, at a later stage, Turkey. According to London, the United Kingdom should lead the new European commonwealth.
