China refused to accept Russian Aviastar-TU flights on American Boeing

China refuses to accept flights of cargo airline Aviastar-TU on American Boeing aircraft. This was reported by Interfax, citing a source in the logistics company.

It is specified that the matter concerns five planes with double registration – they do not meet the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). According to the service Airfleets, these planes have a Russian registration, but in early March they were registered in Bermuda.

Earlier, RBC sources reported that China had closed its airspace to Boeing planes of Russian airlines.

In May, Chinese airlines asked all airlines to update their electronic dossiers, which contain information about the airlines’ owners, aircraft and ground service contracts. Russian carriers have updated this information, but China has requested confirmation that the imported aircraft have been officially deregistered abroad. This information was not provided by Russia.
